5 Eyebrow Trends That Will Carry Us Into 2025

No beauty look is complete without a set of perfectly curated brows. Whether you’re into laminated brows or the expertly sculpted micro brows á la the ‘90s, it’s fun to shake things up and try new styles when experimenting with beauty–especially when the latest brow shapes, colors, and arches are always changing.

Brows have always been the focal point of the face, but it feels like we’re just now embracing all the different ways brows can appear on the face and be altered with makeup. “The current trends are a significant departure from the ultra-sculpted, Instagram brows of the past few years. They’re much more about enhancing your natural features rather than trying to achieve a one-size-fits-all ideal,” says Priyanka Ganjoo, founder of the beauty brand Kulfi. “They align with a broader shift in beauty towards individuality and self-acceptance.”

We spoke with brow experts to uncover their thoughts on the top trends that will last the test of time, or at the very least have us in a chokehold well into 2025. Read on for ideas on your next brow refresh.

Fluffy and Natural

This trend is all about self-love and enhancing your natural features, and it’s not going anywhere. “We’re seeing a huge shift towards embracing natural brow textures,” says Ganjoo. “People are letting their brows grow out and celebrating their unique patterns.”

To achieve the look, just…be you! But of course, if you want to ensure your brows still have a bit of styling to them, you can always tweeze the hairs that fall outside your natural brow line or trim the longer brow hairs by using small scissors, says makeup artist Drita Paljevic.

Micro Sculpted

Trust us on this one, okay? According to runway and red carpet trends, the micro brow is making a major comeback. To achieve the look, start with a clean, dry spoolie and brush upwards and outwards, then fill in the brow with your favorite pen with light, hairlike strokes. But make sure to fill the brows in the same direction as your hairs to achieve that micro-sculpted look, says Paljevic.

Feathered Brows

Looking for a softer edge? Feathered brows are the trend for you. As we see a shift in beauty towards enhancing natural brow shapes, this more diffused look will be wildly popular as we head into the new year. To mimic the style, use your trusty brow gel to gently lift the tail of the brow upwards and keep the hairs in place.

Laminated Brows

While you may not be ready to commit to a full lamination treatment, you can recreate that sleek look with the help of some gel. To get that polished appearance without looking overdone, simply apply your favorite brow gel in the opposite direction of your hair growth, combing upwards at the front and sculpting at the tail. Lay down any unruly hairs and voilà, you’ve got the ultimate laminated brow!

Colorful Accents

Bold and bright colors have been going strong for a while – I mean, how could we forget Euphoria Makeup and Sunset Blush? But now it’s the brows time to shine. “We’re seeing more playful approaches to brow styling, with people adding subtle pops of color to their brows for special occasions or just for fun,” says Ganjoo. From dark tints to bleached brows, this trend is really what you make of it.
