The Shining Stars 2024 2nd Runner-up – Dinh Van Hung and “a new turn”

Dinh Van Hung, born in 2002, is currently a student majoring in Banking and Finance at Danang Architecture University. He has recently been honored with the title of 2nd Runner-up at The Shining Stars 2024. This is a proud achievement, a testament to his efforts and perseverance in his journey of self-improvement. In addition to his successes in academics and beauty pageants, Hung has been chosen to become the Global Ambassador for Student Model at Global Student Fashion Week, a special opportunity for him to spread positive values and inspire the younger generation.

Resilience and courage against all turns of life

Starting as a student majoring in Banking and Finance, Dinh Van Hung has continuously strived to develop himself in both academics and extracurricular activities. The 2nd Runner-up title at The Shining Stars 2024 is the result of his unwavering determination to challenge himself and surpass his own limits. Before participating in the contest, Hung had no experience in beauty pageants, but he was determined to step into a new field that demanded confidence, communication skills, and soft skills training. This success is not only a reward for hard work but also a lesson about the power of self-belief.

On the journey to pursue his dreams, Dinh Van Hung has faced many significant challenges. One of the difficulties he had to deal with was balancing his studies, participating in extracurricular activities, and preparing for competitions. These challenges have also become the driving force that has helped him grow. Hung has learned how to manage his time effectively, maintain his spirit, and continue to strive for self-improvement. He believes that success does not come easily but is achieved through perseverance and determination to overcome all obstacles.

The Global Student Model Ambassador and the desire to spread positive values

Global Student Fashion Week 2025, marking the beginning of a new era for the global fashion industry, will take place over 7 days in the first season of 2025. The event will gather 150 outstanding designers from leading fashion schools around the world, promising impressive fashion shows. Additionally, the event will welcome the participation of 999 beauty queens and kings as global ambassadors, 900 dancers, and over 6,000 guests. This will surely be a dynamic, inspiring fashion week with a powerful global influence.

As the Global Student Model Ambassador for Global Student Fashion Week (GSFW), Dinh Van Hung hopes to take this opportunity to spread the positive values and meaningful messages from the program to the student community and youth worldwide. He is committed to sharing inspiring stories, encouraging young people to pursue their dreams, improve themselves, and develop soft skills. With effort and dedication, Dinh Van Hung hopes to contribute to building a creative, confident, and strong student community, while also raising the value of the GSFW program within the international community.

Lesson from the challenges

On the journey to achieving his dreams, the pressure from both his personal and family expectations sometimes made him doubt his abilities. However, these challenges helped him grow. Hung learned how to manage his time, maintain his spirit, and understand that success comes from perseverance and determination. He shares that the biggest inspiration in his life is his mother, who overcame many hardships and taught him that success is not only about talent but also about believing in oneself and having a kind heart.

For young people who want to enter the arts or participate in beauty contests, Dinh Van Hung offers meaningful advice: “Art and beauty are not just about appearance but also about confidence and inner strength. Believe in your own value and persist in pursuing your passion. Developing skills is always important, so learn from those who have gone before you and never stop improving yourself.” He also emphasizes that physical and mental health are the foundations for shining in any field.

Don’t forget to follow Dinh Van Hung’s next journey at Global Student Fashion Week!
