Demi Moore Reveals She Walked to the 2025 Golden Globes — in Her Custom Metallic Gown and Heels!

The actress, who is nominated for best performance by a female actor for her role in ‘The Substance,’ made her mark in a jaw-dropping red carpet look

Demi Moore is just like the rest of us — not down with the Los Angeles traffic!

Ahead of the 2025 Golden Globes red carpet, Moore avoided the usual traffic by skipping an arrival by car and walking from her hotel.

She told Variety on the red carpet that she “walked” from her hotel. And when asked where it was, she simply replied, “not far.”

On Sunday, Jan, 5, the 62-year-old actress, who is nominated for her role in The Substance, walked the red carpet in a stunning metallic silk gown.

The nominee and presenter appeared in a custom Giorgio Armani Privé strapless champagne silk gown featuring a curved geometric detail embellished with Swarovski crystals.

Moore has received critical acclaim for her performance in the 2024 body horror The Substance and is nominated for best performance by a female actor in a motion picture – musical or comedy at the 2025 awards show.

In the film, the actress plays Elisabeth Sparkle, a TV aerobics instructor who is fired from her gig when she turns 50. In an effort to reverse the aging process, she begins taking an experimental, black-market drug that creates a younger version of herself portrayed by Margaret Qualley.

“It really captivated me, the way in which it was exploring this subject of aging and, in particular, that violence that we can have against ourselves, the way in which we all — men and women alike — can dissect and criticize our own reflection,” Moore said of the film’s themes on the Monday, Dec. 2 episode of The Hollywood Reporter‘s Awards Chatter podcast. “It just felt so relatable, on a human level.”

Moore also shared that prior to her role in The Substance, she felt unsure about where her career was going. “I didn’t quite know where I fit or where I belonged,” she said. “I really did hit a point where I started to wonder, not like, ‘Is this over?’ But, ‘Is this actually complete? Have I done what I was supposed to do in this?'”

Moore has also enjoyed a red carpet resurgence throughout the film’s promotion. Following a memorable fashion moment at the 2024 Met Gala in May, the actress made a show-stopping appearance weeks later at Cannes Film Festival, where she turned heads in a custom Loewe gown.
