Sophie Skelton just finished filming the final season of Outlander, but right now, she’s in full celebration mode. After all, the renowned Starz series just celebrated its 10th anniversary. To honor the milestone, Skelton joined her co-stars—including Caitríona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Sophie Skelton, and Richard Rankin—on the opening night of PaleyFest in New York City to reflect on the show’s legacy.
There’s still plenty more Outlander to come, though. Season 7, part 2 will premiere on November 22, and the eighth and final season will follow. For the event, Skelton wore a sleek take on the dress-over-pants trend, opting for a flowing pearly white dress by David Koma over black wide-leg pants and pointed-toe heels by Gianvito Rossi. (Brianna MacKenzie’s frilly frocks are nowhere to be seen here.)
Her hair was slicked back and she wore jewelry by Repossi. Skelton and the cast finished filming the final episodes of Outlander last month. “Words cannot express the gratitude owed to each and every hard-working cast and crew member who brought this incredible series to life and every single fan who supports it with passion, creativity, and dedication,” Skelton wrote on Instagram when production wrapped. “Outlander really is more than just a show, it’s a family, and while filming might be ending, there’s so much more to this journey that’s just beginning. We can’t wait for you to see it.” While you wait for the Droughtlander to end, check out Skelton’s behind-the-scenes diary from PaleyFest below.
