National University of Arts Education: Partnering Global Student Fashion Week in elevating young designer talents

The fashion industry is experiencing remarkable growth, not only as a field of creativity but also as a cultural bridge, spreading inspiration to all generations. Recognizing this potential, Global Student Fashion Week (GSFW) 2025 – the world’s first fashion week dedicated to educational institutions – has officially been established, providing an international platform where young designers can freely showcase their talent and boundless creativity. Pursuing the same goal, the National University of Arts Education has officially signed an agreement with GSFW and will participate in the event, reaffirming its pioneering position in connecting education with the practicalities of the global fashion industry.

Global Student Fashion Week 2025 – International-level fashion playground

Global Student Fashion Week (GSFW) 2025, the world’s first fashion week dedicated exclusively to students, is a groundbreaking event in the global fashion industry. Taking place in December in Hanoi, Vietnam, GSFW is not only a creative platform but also a convergence of excellence, featuring the participation of 150 talented young designers from 30 renowned universities worldwide. The week will also host over 6,000 guests, including 999 beauty queens and kings serving as Global Ambassadors, along with 900 professional dancers.

Global Student Fashion Week 2025 is not only an opportunity for fashion students to showcase their talent and freely express their creative individuality but also a space to connect with top recruiters and access pioneering fashion trends. With an impressive combination of high-class collections, the stunning appearances of beauty queens and kings, and professional performance experience, GSFW promises to create a “big bang,” cementing its position as one of the 10 most influential fashion weeks on the planet.

Recently, the signing ceremony of a partnership between the National University of Arts Education (NUAE) and Global Student Fashion Week (GSFW) took place, marking a significant milestone in elevating Vietnam’s fashion industry on the global map. The event was attended by NUAE leaders and faculty members, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Vinh Hung, Acting Vice Rector; MSc. Trinh Thi Thanh, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh, Vice Rector; and MSc. Hoang Thi Oanh, Acting Vice Head of the Faculty of Fashion Design & Garment Technology.  

Representatives from GSFW also participated, including Mr. Le Tran Dac Ngoc, Chairman of Voyage Group and President of Global Student Fashion Week; Mr. Thang Van Phuc, former Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Chairman of the Vietnam Record Association, and Senior Advisor to GSFW; Mr. Nguyen Thang Long, GSFW’s External Affairs Director; Miss Cao Bich Ngoc, Miss Earth Vietnam 2024 and Global Ambassador for GSFW; and child model and actress Cherry An Nhien, GSFW Global Ambassador Junior.

This collaboration not only reaffirms the National University of Arts Education’s position in training high-quality human resources but also opens golden opportunities for students to experience a professional fashion environment, access international trends, and showcase their creative talents.
