On March 7, at the iconic architectural landmark Dongdaemun Design Plaza, model Nykky Do will take to the runway at Asia Open Runway Seoul The 16th LBMA 2026. This large-scale fashion event, supported by prestigious organizations in South Korea, serves as a platform to honor creative values and celebrate the cultural exchange among Asian nations.
High-caliber fashion event in Seoul
Asia Open Runway Seoul The 16th LBMA 2026 is a large-scale fashion event that brings together numerous talents, designers, and leading model training institutions from various countries. The program is organized by The Look C&C, a reputable unit behind prestigious beauty pageants such as Miss Universe and Miss World, in collaboration with LBMA STAR E&M, which boasts nearly 30 years of experience.
Notably, the event receives patronage from the International Model Association (under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Korea) and Happy People Organization (under the Ministry of Gender Equality & Family of South Korea). The decision to host the event at Dongdaemun Design Plaza—the world’s largest non-linear architectural structure—demonstrates the scale and professional investment the organizers dedicate to participating representatives.
Nykky Do: From the business market to international runways
Nykky Do (Do Ngoc Yen Nhu) currently serves as the Founder of JEJ Solution, operating in the field of branding and communications. In addition, she holds the position of Director of External Relations at Loc Phuc Fine Jewelry and is the Brand Ambassador of VACOSI Makeup Korea. She is also actively engaged in community initiatives as the Vice President of JCI Wonder Woman.
Although she dedicates most of her time to business, Nykky Do continues to maintain her professional performance skills, which were formally developed when she became an exclusive model for Elite Model Management at the age of 19. Winning the title of Mrs. Celebrity Vietnam 2025 and earning the 1st Runner-up position at an international competition in Malaysia further strengthened her stage experience and confidence in large-scale events.
For her upcoming appearance in Seoul, Nykky Do has carefully prepared both her stage presence and catwalk techniques. She views this opportunity as a chance to learn, expand international connections, and showcase the image of a modern, confident Vietnamese woman in an increasingly globalized environment.
BADBISS to make waves in South Korea
At the event, Nykky Do will present designs from BADBISS, the fashion brand founded by designer Huynh Thanh Tho. As the valedictorian of the Fashion Design Department at Van Lang University, Huynh Thanh Tho has shaped BADBISS with a modern aesthetic, emphasizing material manipulation techniques and intricate hand embellishments.
The collection titled “Ly Dynasty”, unveiled in Seoul, draws inspiration from the art of Vietnam’s Ly Dynasty. Traditional motifs are reinterpreted through contemporary design language, combined with layering techniques and structured corset silhouettes. Through this collection, the brand aims to incorporate traditional cultural values into ready-to-wear fashion for the younger generation.
A highlight of this show is the collaboration between Vietnamese models and international faces from Romania, Singapore, and South Korea. The presence of Nykky Do alongside models such as Trung Nguyen and Minh Ngoc, all showcasing designs imbued with Vietnamese heritage, promises to offer a vivid perspective on the creative capabilities of emerging Vietnamese designers at Dongdaemun Design Plaza.
Development route post-event
After her runway presentation in Seoul, Nykky Do plans to continue implementing projects that support women in leadership and expand international cultural exchange initiatives. She views art as a space to express her personal identity, complementing the strategic communications work she actively pursues.
The proactive participation of Vietnamese individuals and domestic brands in professional platforms in South Korea reflects a serious commitment to meeting global fashion standards. Such strides not only demonstrate ambition but also contribute to affirming the position of Vietnam’s creative industry professionals on the regional map.
