The joy of a long weekend (or, you know, that seemingly endless stretch of time between Christmas and New Year’s) is that you can relax your beauty routine and go makeup free while you watch an Emily in Paris marathon or scroll The Real Real for hours. But sometimes it’s fun to do a little something, even if you’re not planning on leaving the house. Thankfully, Selena Gomez has the perfect quick contour and blush method to give your face a boost in a flash.
Gomez shared her quick and easy routine on TikTok, as she often does to show off new products or give fans a glimpse into her daily getting-ready process. “Usually my everyday,” she wrote of the look, which is probably why she’s so good at it. The video is just under a minute long, so you don’t have to focus on a long, multi-step routine—just a few simple basics.

Gomez obviously uses all Rare Beauty products, but you could use any cream or stick bronzer you have on hand. After prepping with a skin tint and some powder, she reaches for her Warm Wishes Effortless Cream Bronzer Stick and dots two small blobs of color on either side of her temples, then applies a few more blobs right underneath her cheekbones.
But Gomez doesn’t stop there! The actor and musician also adds a swoop of bronzer right atop the crease of her eyelid for a subtle hint of definition without the need for eye shadow. (Why have I never done that?) She blends the bronzer, gently pressing it into her skin with an angled brush, then applies more strategically placed dots—this time her Soft Pinch Liquid Blush—just above the cheekbone, plus one on the bridge of her nose. After blending in a similar fashion, she finishes with highlighter, mascara, and brow gel. (And yes, her gorgeous engagement ring makes a cameo!) Easy peasy, practical, and perfect for the final days of 2024.
