The Vinpearl Equestrian Cup 2025 is the first professional equestrian competition in Vietnam to be held at true international scale and quality. The tournament marks a historic milestone, signaling a new era for Vietnamese equestrianism and underscoring the Vinpearl Horse Academy Vu Yen’s commitment to standardizing training, elevating athletes, and officially leading the nation’s equestrian industry into a new phase of deep global integration.
On November 29, 2025, the Vinpearl Horse Academy Vu Yen (Hai Phong) became the focal point of the equestrian community as it hosted, for the first time, the Vinpearl Equestrian Cup 2025 — a large-scale, professional equestrian competition bringing together more than 100 riders and outstanding horses from renowned clubs. The tournament was organized by the Vinpearl Horse Academy Vu Yen in collaboration with On Media Joint Stock Company.
From the very first moments, the atmosphere at Vinhomes Royal Island erupted as the athletes and their valiant steeds charged into action. The international-standard racetrack became the focal point of thousands of captivated eyes, with every movement, every powerful gallop holding spectators breathless before their emotions finally burst into excitement.
The obstacle-jumping, individual, and team technical events unfolded in rapid succession, continuously pushing the excitement to its peak. Each athlete demonstrated unwavering determination, intense focus, and masterful horsemanship, coming together to create a vibrant and exhilarating scene—one rarely seen in a professional equestrian competition in Vietnam.
Fiesta Division: A promising head start
The tournament kicked off with great excitement in the Fiesta Division for amateurs. This division plays a vital role in encouraging the community and strengthening the foundational skillset of non-professional riders. The events showcased a blend of speed, technique, and individual determination.
To ensure the highest level of transparency and professionalism, the results of the Amateur Division were evaluated and certified by an experienced panel of international judges. The top awards went to: Vu Thao Vy (Champion), Yen Ming Nan (1st Runner-up), and Ngo Huong Quynh (2nd Runner-up). The Organizing Committee also presented three Promising Young Equestrian Awards to Nguyen Tien Anh, Tran Huy Phong, and Nguyen Duc Dong.
Junior Division: Affirming the potential for international integration
On November 30, the competition continued with the Junior Division, where young talent truly shone. The confidence, solid technique, and competitive spirit displayed by these young riders offered the clearest proof of Vietnam’s potential for international integration in equestrian sports.
The final results of the Kids Division were announced by the Judges Panel, with the top awards going to Trinh Khanh Chi (Champion), Alesandra Gazarian (1st Runner-up), and Nguyen Minh Ngoc (2nd Runner-up). The Promising Junior Equestrian Awards were presented to Nguyen Ha Giang, Tran Mai Khue, and Nguyen Duc Anh.
Through this division, the organizers aimed to convey the message that providing children with proper, standardised training from an early age is a crucial strategy—one that will help Vietnam build a strong generation of skilled athletes ready to conquer international arenas in the future.
Master Division: The Show Jumping breakthrough
The most anticipated moment came to a close with the Master (Professional) Category, where riders were pushed to the limits of their skill, composure, and mental fortitude. Notably, the Vinpearl Equestrian Cup 2025 successfully hosted Vietnam’s first-ever high-intensity Show Jumping rounds, showcasing a new level of elite performance that has now been firmly established.

The final results of the Master Division were announced by the Jury Panel, with the top awards going to Hoang Van Liem (Champion), Nguyen Duong Minh Anh (1st Runner-up), and Sung Seo Din (2nd Runner-up). These results not only celebrate talent and experience but also recognize the athletes’ and the academy’s perseverance, discipline, and unwavering ambition to reach the pinnacle of Vietnamese equestrian sports.
Opening up an outward era for Vietnamese equestrian sports
The tournament concluded with a multitude of emotions and unforgettable moments, as the Vinpearl Equestrian Cup 2025 rose far beyond the scope of a sporting competition. This event officially marks a historic turning point, ushering in a new professional era for equestrian sports in Vietnam.
