From the highlands to the capital – new turn of life
The decision to move from Kon Tum to Hanoi was not an easy one for Minh Thu. It was not only a change of environment but also a psychological challenge as she had to adapt to the fast-paced life and pressures of a big city. “The difficulties didn’t discourage me; instead, they became lessons that helped me grow,” Minh Thu shared. This journey has helped the young woman discover new potentials within herself. In Hanoi, Minh Thu has not only focused on her studies but also pursued her passion for the arts as a freelance model. She said, “Each experience brings me confidence, social skills, and valuable relationships.”

As the Global Student Fashion Week (GSFW) Global Student Model Ambassador, Minh Thu hopes to become a bridge to bring the positive messages of the program to the community and youth. “I hope to share stories about fashion, art, and inspire young people who, like me, nurture their passions,” she expressed. Although she is still on her journey of self-improvement, Minh Thu has proven that with determination and relentless effort, anyone can reach their dreams. “Every challenge is an opportunity to discover a better version of ourselves,” the young woman affirmed.

As a representative of the Gen Z generation, Tran Minh Thu clearly embodies creativity, flexibility, and determination to overcome challenges in order to unlock her full potential. For Minh Thu, Gen Z is endowed with many advantages, such as a sharp aptitude for technology, a spirit of embracing innovation, and a passionate drive to chase dreams. However, she also candidly acknowledges the limitations of her generation, particularly the lack of patience and the negative impact of social media. “Gen Z has many strengths, such as being tech-savvy, creative, and unafraid of challenges. But in order to succeed, we need more patience and clearer direction,” she shared. For Minh Thu, balancing study and work is not an easy task, but she has proven that with a clear plan and optimized time management, any challenge can be overcome.
