Nguyen Thi Thanh Hang, a young woman from Hanoi, is currently a third-year English Linguistic student at Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA). With an impressive profile spanning academics, community activities, and the arts, Thanh Hang is set to officially take on the role of Global Student Fashion Week (GSFW) Ambassador. This marks a new milestone in her journey of self-empowerment and spreading positive values to the international community.
“The brilliant journey” in studies and the arts
Since her high school years, Thanh Hang has made a remarkable impression with her outstanding academic achievements. For 12 consecutive years, she earned the title of excellent student, frequently receiving accolades in district-level competitions in Literature and History, along with awards such as the Physics Violympic Medal and the top scorer in the Literature-History-Geography group at her high school. Upon entering university, Thanh Hang not only received an excellent scholarship but also earned the title of “Student of Five Merits” at the academy, demonstrating her relentless efforts.

When asked about her greatest source of pride, Thanh Hang confidently shares that her ability to overcome personal limitations has shaped who she is today. “I used to be afraid when standing in front of a crowd, doubting my abilities when participating in large competitions. But instead of letting those fears hold me back, I chose to face them and break through,” she confides.
Thanh Hang’s greatest challenge was surpassing others’ expectations to find her own voice. “There was a time when I lived to please society rather than listening to myself. The journey to overcome this was not easy, but it helped me realize that true success only holds meaning when we live in alignment with our values and passions.”

Thanh Hang always dreams of becoming an inspiration for young people who dare to face challenges and pursue their dreams. For her, challenges are not obstacles, but opportunities for growth. She shares: “I want to use my story to encourage young people to bravely step out of their comfort zones. Success is not the destination, but the journey where you learn, explore, and grow from experiences.”
