Nguyen Le Diem Quynh – journey of conquering dreams and self-affirmation

Nguyen Le Diem Quynh, a talented and passionate female student, is currently in her final year at the National Academy of Educational Management (NAEM), majoring in English Linguistics. She was crowned Miss NAEM 2023 and also won the title of 1st Runner-up in the Miss Supernational Vietnam 2024 competition. With impressive achievements, Diem Quynh has been excellently selected as the Global Student Fashion Week 2025 Ambassador, marking a significant milestone in her journey to pursue her passion.

Giving up the “easy path” to live with passion

Born into a family with a tradition in the aviation industry, Diem Quynh was once under pressure to follow in her family’s footsteps and become a flight attendant as expected by her mother. However, she decided to forge her own path, where she could use her voice and image to spread positive values to others. “They once told me that my appearance wasn’t suitable for being an MC, and that I should follow the family business. But with my mother’s support, I kept striving to prove otherwise,” Quynh shared.

Starting from her first steps, like participating in school events as a host in high school, Quynh gradually established herself and became the president of the school’s MC club. Failing the entrance exam to the Academy of Journalism and Communication was a shock, but Quynh did not give up. She redirected her path and developed her MC career at the National Academy of Educational Management, where she founded the MC club and became a familiar face at various events.

Big dreams: Going national and inspiring others

Diem Quynh does not stop at just becoming an event MC. Her biggest dream is to become an MC/Editor at Vietnam Television (VTV). From middle school, the image of television hosts became a powerful inspiration, driving her to gradually pursue this dream. Currently, she is continuously improving her skills, from participating in professional MC courses to building projects that help students become more confident in communication.

Becoming the Global Student Fashion Week 2025 Ambassador is a significant step forward for Diem Quynh. In this role, she is committed to spreading values of confidence, creativity, and social responsibility. “Fashion and art are not only about outer beauty, but also an opportunity for us to grow comprehensively and contribute to positive changes in society,” Quynh shared. She plans to organize activities such as seminars, workshops, and campaigns to create spaces for students to freely express creativity and explore themselves.

Difficulties and motivations on the conquest of dreams

The path to success for Diem Quynh has not been easy. She had to overcome prejudice about her appearance, opposition from some family members, and early failures in her studies. But all of these challenges became motivation for her to constantly improve herself. The quote “To sit in a place where no one else can sit, you must endure what no one else can endure” by singer Son Tung M-TP has become a guiding principle in Quynh’s journey to surpass her limits.

Diem Quynh sends a message to young people passionate about art and beauty: “Don’t let prejudice hinder your steps. Focus on your goals, work hard, and never stop believing in yourself. Though the journey may be difficult, it’s these challenges that will help you grow and shine.” Nguyen Le Diem Quynh is a living proof of pursuing one’s passion and breaking through personal limits. As the Global Ambassador for GSFW 2025, she not only represents the intellectual beauty and strength of Vietnamese women, but also serves as an inspiration for the younger generation on their journey to explore and affirm themselves.
