Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram – From Miss FPT Polytechnic to Global Student Model Ambassador

In the world of young individuals who dare to dream big and take bold actions, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram – the Miss FPT Polytechnic Hanoi – stands out with her inspiring startup story. Not just a symbol of beauty, this Gen Z girl has successfully built her own jewelry brand, generating nearly 1 billion VND in revenue per month at just 21 years old. Recently, she was officially named the Global Student Fashion Week Model Ambassador – the first fashion week in the world dedicated to students.

The startup journey and early life setbacks

Ngoc Tram embarked on her entrepreneurial journey at just 20 years old. However, a lack of experience caused her first project to fall short of expectations. Balancing an internship while managing a business, Tram faced immense pressure from both work and family. After four months of experimentation, she decided to pause to regain balance and develop a new plan.

In May 2024, with relentless effort and lessons learned from her previous failure, she restarted the project with greater caution. This time, thanks to support from experienced mentors and her own determination, Tram’s jewelry shop quickly gained recognition. Today, the brand has achieved impressive revenue and is well-known in the industry. Tram shared that her greatest inspiration came from the owner of a shop where she worked part-time during her studies. “He taught me that with perseverance and effort, anything you desire can become a reality,” she said.

Intellect has to always accompany beauty

Ngoc Tram firmly believes that beauty is not only about appearance but also lies in knowledge and contributions to the community. This belief drives her to actively build her personal brand through meaningful activities, from entrepreneurial ventures to participating in beauty programs.

At Global Student Fashion Week – the first fashion week in the world dedicated to students – Tram aims to present the image of a modern model: not only beautiful but also knowledgeable and socially responsible. This event is an opportunity for her to inspire young people worldwide, encouraging them to dream big and take action to achieve their goals. With her perseverance and accomplishments, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram promises to become a new icon in the global student fashion and modeling community.

Advice for youngsters

For young individuals nurturing entrepreneurial dreams, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram shares an inspiring message: “If you want it, take action now and start with small steps.” According to her, the courage to act, even with the simplest initial steps, is the key to turning any dream into reality. Tram understands that every beginning comes with challenges, but what matters most is perseverance and continuous learning. She emphasizes that success doesn’t come overnight but is the result of a long process of gaining experience and steadfast dedication to one’s goals.

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram’s story is a vivid testament to this belief. From a young girl with big dreams and entrepreneurial ambitions, she overcame failures, a lack of family support, and personal pressures to achieve success. With her unwavering passion and relentless effort, she proves that there are no limits for those who dare to dream and act. Her journey is a powerful source of inspiration for the younger generation – those who are on the path to discovering and shaping their own futures.
