Tran Ngoc Yen leaving strong impressions in Vietnam’s junior modeling field with professional demeanors

At an age when many children are still shy in front of crowds, Tran Ngoc Yen has shown a different demeanor: confident, composed, and full of emotion on stage. Her selection to join Global Junior Fashion Week 2025 as a Global Ambassador is a testament to that remarkable potential. This is not only a personal joy, but also a reflection of the maturity and bravery of a young face gradually reaching new opportunities in the fashion industry.

Global Junior Fashion Week 2025: Globally influential fashion week for junior models

Global Junior Fashion Week (GJFW) is an international fashion event for child models, developed from the foundation of Vietnam International Junior Fashion Week, with the mission of becoming a convergence point for designers, brands, and young talents from over 50 countries and territories.

The event is organized by Voyage Group, in collaboration with the Hanoi Museum, the Vietnam Martyr Families Support Association, and 5G Multimedia; and is sponsored by the International Cooperation Department – Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Record Association, as well as prestigious international organizations such as CICON, MARVELS, FCA, and Korea CEO Summit.

GJFW 2025 is scheduled to take place on June 28 and 29, 2025, at the Hanoi Museum, bringing together 999 Global Ambassadors, 500 Global Student Model Ambassadors, and 50 international experts in the Senior Advisory Council. With the theme “The Celestial Symphony”, the program not only celebrates fashion but also conveys a message about the connection between people, art, and nature.

In addition to fashion shows, the event will feature traditional cultural activities such as making to he figurines, painting Dong Ho folk art, and decorating conical hats, allowing young models to explore Vietnamese identity in an international setting. A major highlight is the Global Junior Supermodel 2025 competition, which aims to discover and honor outstanding child models from around the world.

Vietnamese model kid with high hopes

Tran Ngoc Yen, 9 years old, is currently a student at Dong Dang Primary School – Cao Loc, Lang Son Province. Not only does she stand out on the runway, Ngoc Yen is also an all-round excellent student for many consecutive years. She actively participates in artistic, sports, and academic activities at school and in the local community, earning various awards such as First Prize in the school-level “Giai Dieu Tuoi Hong” (Melodies of Youth) singing contest, First Prize in acting and dancing at the 2024 provincial summer camp, and Second Prize at the district-level “Be khoe dep tai nang” (Healthful and Talented Kid) contest during her kindergarten years.

The year 2024 marked a major turning point for Ngoc Yen as she won the championship title at the Vietnamese Child Talent Contest organized by VTC Digital Television, along with a series of prestigious international awards such as Outstanding Model Kid and Outstanding Asian Model Kid at the International Fashion Runway held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She also serves as the brand ambassador for 9 Fashion and designer Tran Thanh Man.

Ngoc Yen is also a familiar face at many major art events such as First Face – Vedette at shows like “Xuan Phong Xu Lang” (Lang Son Spring Flavors), “Dau An Viet Nam” (Vietnam Remarks), “Xuan Xanh” (Green Spring), “Tinh Hoa Dat Rong” (Essence of the Dragon Land), “Le Hoi Hoa Phuong Do – Ton Vinh Ban Sac Viet” (Red Flamboyant Flower Festival – Celebrating Vietnamese Identity), and “Xu So Uoc Mo” (Dreamland). What sets her apart is not only her bright appearance or professional performance skills, but also her seriousness, progressive spirit, and admirable discipline – qualities rarely seen in a child model.

Ngoc Yen: Purity of childhood in a professional world

Ngoc Yen is not simply a talented child model; she is also a symbol of ambition and humility. Every time she steps onto the stage, she strives to do better than before, never letting achievements overshadow the joy of performing.

At an age when everything is still new, maintaining a long-lasting passion for art is no easy feat. But for Ngoc Yen, fashion seems to have become a natural part of her daily life: gentle yet profound.

The recognition from GJFW serves as a stepping stone for her to continue growing, constantly improving, and expanding her horizons. More importantly, it is an opportunity to share the beautiful values of Vietnam with the world through the first steps of an inspiring young girl.

New role with high expectations

Chosen as the Global Ambassador for Global Junior Fashion Week 2025, Tran Ngoc Yen not only receives a meaningful title but also embarks on an entirely new journey – one where she has the opportunity to meet, interact with, and learn from talented child models from various countries.

Despite her young age, Ngoc Yen has shown meticulousness and seriousness in her work. This attitude has made her a deserving choice for the role of Ambassador. It marks an important step forward, not one filled with pressure but with encouragement, allowing her to continue nurturing her passion for fashion while gradually becoming familiar with more professional environments.

The journey ahead will surely come with many challenges, but it will also bring many new and exciting experiences. For Ngoc Yen, every time she participates in a major event like GJFW, it is not just an opportunity but also a joy to live authentically with what she loves.
