Truong Minh Khanh – a young man born in 2003, is currently a business manager and freelance model. With the proud achievement of being 1st Runner-up at Miss & Mister 2023 FPT Polytechnic, Khanh has solidified his position in the hearts of the public and the fashion industry. Although his journey has faced many challenges, these difficulties have become the motivation for Khanh to continue rising and shining.
Conquering adversities and conquering himself
From the very beginning of his journey in the arts, Minh Khanh has faced a lot of gossip and skepticism from those around him. Many people believed that he wasn’t capable of pursuing this path, and some even thought he was only participating to “fill up the contestant slots”. However, instead of letting these negative words hold him back, Khanh turned them into motivation to strive harder, prove his abilities, and reach the successes he enjoys today.
He shared that Pharmacist Tien is the biggest source of inspiration for him, always being a strong support that helped him continue moving forward on this challenging path. “Mr. Tien is incredibly talented, knowledgeable, and always passionate about the arts. I really look up to him. Especially, his advice and support have helped me so much throughout this journey,” Khanh confided.
Journey of constantly learning to develop
As a Gen Z model, Truong Minh Khanh is always ready to face new challenges and is not afraid to explore creative ideas, while breaking old patterns to create unique value. He understands that art is not just a job, but a continuous process of experimentation and innovation. Balancing between studying, business work, and participating in the arts is a big challenge, but Khanh always proactively plans in detail for each day, each week, and each month, helping him make the most of his time and maintain efficiency in all areas.
In his role as a representative of the student community at Global Student Fashion Week, Khanh hopes to continue inspiring young people, igniting the flames of passion and creativity in them. He believes that connecting and mobilizing support from friends and family is the key to growing and shining together. With this new role, Khanh hopes to help spread positive values, not only for the fashion industry but also for the student community in general.
