Duong Van Anh, a girl born in 2001 and a graduate of Hanoi University of Pharmacy, is not only a talented pharmacist but also a beauty icon with several notable titles: 2nd Runner-up, Miss Popular, and Miss Media at the Pharmacy Charm competition. Although she has succeeded in the pharmaceutical industry, Van Anh has always nurtured her passion for fashion. Recently, she officially became the Global Student Model Ambassador at Global Student Fashion Week, making her mark in both fields and inspiring the younger generation to continuously pursue their passions.
Van Anh’s new opportunity at GSFW
Global Student Fashion Week (GSFW) – the first fashion week in the world dedicated exclusively to students – is not only an artistic playground but also a platform to celebrate the creative talents of youth. As the Global Student Model Ambassador, Van Anh represents not only Vietnamese youth but also embodies the confidence, effort, and unique style of Generation Z. “Participating in GSFW is a significant milestone in my journey. This is not only an opportunity for me to learn but also to spread positive values to the community,” Van Anh shared.
Although she is a talented pharmacist with a degree from Hanoi University of Pharmacy, fashion has always been an essential part of her life. Van Anh continues to pursue her passion for fashion and has made a name for herself through a series of impressive titles, including 2nd Runner-up, Miss Popular, and Miss Media at the Pharmacy Charm competition. Her journey is a testament to the perfect combination of talent and passion, as Van Anh has overcome challenges and established her position not only in the pharmaceutical industry but also in the fields of beauty and fashion. Her role as an ambassador promises to give her more opportunities to affirm herself, inspire others, and encourage her peers to confidently pursue their passions.
Aspiration to break through on the journey to the top
Like other young people, Duong Van Anh has also gone through difficult periods, especially the time when she felt lost as she entered university. The feeling of insecurity once made her withdraw. However, instead of letting these challenges hold her back, Van Anh decided to change, put her trust in herself, and continuously strive for progress. It was a time when she didn’t dare to take a step forward, didn’t dare to step out of her comfort zone to pursue her dreams.
However, after all, Van Anh decided to break through in order to affirm herself more. She shared: “I don’t seek a perfect role model to follow, but I just try every day to become a better version of myself than I was in the past. My family and friends are the biggest motivation that helps me overcome every challenge and move forward with confidence.”

As a Gen Z model, Van Anh is always ready to face challenges, experiment with new ideas, and break through limits. To balance her career as a pharmacist and her artistic activities, she always plans her tasks and time in detail. She believes that effective time management not only helps her develop comprehensively but also creates more positive values for the community.
