Not only standing out with her bright stage presence and impressive achievements, Do Thi Mai Anh is making her mark as a modern children’s role model who connects tradition and creativity. Her becoming the Global Ambassador of Global Junior Fashion Week 2025 is not just a personal honor, but also a testament to the younger generation’s ability to love, understand, and spread Vietnamese cultural identity in an era of integration.
When passion is nurtured from the simplest things
Not coming from an artistic background and having never received formal long-term training, Do Thi Mai Anh’s journey began with the simplest things – curiosity, a love for performing, and innate creativity. As a child, she often used blankets, old dresses, and fabric scraps from around the house to create her own performance outfits, wore her mother’s high heels, posed in front of the mirror, and confidently played the role of a “child model” in her imagined world.
Mai Anh’s love for art was nurtured not in grand stages or under colorful lights, but in the small house where she grew up. She often staged short “plays” to perform for her family, set up a “class” at home with her parents and brother as “students,” or created dances whenever music played. These may seem like small experiences, but they laid the foundation for developing an independent performance mindset and a natural creative personality, free from conventional constraints.
Her quick learning ability, seriousness in every activity, and proactive attitude toward practice helped Mai Anh quickly adapt to the professional art environment when she began formal training in 2023. Although she started later than many of her peers, she has consistently strived to prove herself with a progressive spirit, self-discipline, and a clear passion for the arts.
Global Junior Fashion Week 2025: Artistic space connecting culture with global junior fashion
Global Junior Fashion Week 2025 (GJFW 2025) will take place from June 28–29, 2025, at the Hanoi Museum, with the theme “The Celestial Symphony”. This is an international children’s fashion event organized by Voyage Group, in collaboration with the Hanoi Museum, the Vietnam Martyr Families Support Association, 5G Multimedia, and under the patronage of the International Cooperation Department (Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism), the Vietnam Record Association, along with prestigious international organizations such as CICON, MARVELS, FCA, Korea CEO Summit, and more.
In addition to the professional fashion shows, GJFW 2025 will offer a series of folk cultural experiences such as making to he figurines, calligraphy, and making Dong Ho paintings. These activities allow children not only to showcase their artistic talents but also to cultivate national pride and life skills. Alongside this is the Global Junior Supermodel 2025 competition, with creative rounds like “Who am I?”, talent showcases, and stage presence, aiming to find young models who embody the essence, charisma, and mindset of the new generation.
The event will gather 999 global ambassadors, 500 student ambassadors, hundreds of young models, and major media organizations, promising to create a peak cultural and artistic journey for the younger generation.
Global Ambassador carrying the Vietnamese identity
Chosen to be one of the Global Ambassadors of Global Junior Fashion Week 2025, Do Thi Mai Anh not only represents the artistic talent of Vietnamese children but also embodies a generation of youth who cherish traditional values, possess a spirit of learning, and are proactive in integration.
With a professional performance style, confident runway presence, and strong stage sense, Mai Anh has taken on many leading roles, such as vedette and first face, in major fashion shows. She has also impressed judges in competitions such as: Junior Ambassador of Miss Culture and Tourism Vietnam, Creative Ambassador at Magical Unicorn Vietnam, and Outstanding Junior Model of 2024.
Not stopping at fashion, she has also achieved success in sports, winning gold medals at the district level and silver and bronze medals in Vovinam competitions. Mai Anh actively participates in artistic performances, learns public speaking, paints, and organizes home classes. With strong support from her family and a high sense of discipline, Mai Anh is gradually shaping herself as an artistic talent with an integrated mindset, while staying deeply rooted in Vietnamese culture.
From pure creativity to lively identities
The most remarkable thing about Mai Anh lies not in her titles, but in how she lives and expresses her passion in a pure, emotional way. She isn’t afraid to share self-staged plays or one-of-a-kind designs made from blankets and fabric scraps around the house. She also confidently presents herself in front of crowds, even in unfamiliar environments where many of her peers might feel reserved.
Mai Anh loves telling stories through performance, seeing each stage as a “blank page” where she writes her identity with her gaze, steps, and true emotions. She once told her mother, “I don’t need to stand out more than anyone, as long as I can be myself on stage, I will be happy”.
And perhaps it is this mindset that has shaped Do Thi Mai Anh into someone truly unique—neither overly flashy nor conventional—but a young girl with a soft yet profound strength. She is an artistic seed growing with a heart full of love for culture and a spirit constantly exploring her own potential.
