VFEP – Resilient voluntary hearts to join “My Team Is The Leader”

When it comes to the oldest and most tradition-rich teams at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the Volunteer Student Team of the Faculty of Engineering Physics (VFEP) stands out. Established on December 22, 2003, VFEP carries over 20 years of history and a mission of community service. Recently, VFEP officially joined the race for “My Team Is The Leader”, a competition for clubs held as part of Global Student Fashion Week.

Over 20-year-long journey of volunteering for the community

Over two decades of establishment and development, the Volunteer Student Team of the Faculty of Engineering Physics (VFEP) has become a familiar name associated with charitable activities both on and off campus. The team has supported numerous prominent programs such as “Iced Tea for the Community” and “Red Sunday” within the grounds of Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Beyond campus, VFEP has partnered with the FCF Porridge Group to cook and distribute free porridge to patients at Đống Đa Hospital and E Hospital and collaborated with the Huong Tu Bi (Essence of Compassion) Club to assist activities at Khai Nguyen Pagoda.

Over 20-year-long journey of volunteering for the community

VFEP has left a significant mark through outreach missions to remote areas, bringing warmth and support to underprivileged regions. Notable trips include Warm Winter in Dong Lac (2023), Warm Winter in Bac Son (2024), Green Summer (2022) in Lo Son – Tan Lac – Hoa Binh, Green Summer (2023) in Dong Vuong – Yen The – Bac Giang, and Green Summer (2024) in Lang Quan – Yen Son – Tuyen Quang. These journeys not only provide practical assistance but also offer invaluable experiences that foster the personal growth and sense of responsibility of the members.

Proud achievements

Throughout its journey, VFEP has not only made its mark through volunteer activities but also achieved numerous notable accomplishments. The team won second place in the finals of the Volunteer Student Fair Communication Contest in 2022, third place in the 2023 Volunteer Student Fair finals, and consistently ranked among the Top 4 volunteering teams at Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2022, climbing to the prestigious Top 1 position in 2023.

These achievements stand as a testament to VFEP’s unwavering efforts, driven by its youthful and enthusiastic members and a dedicated leadership team passionate about volunteer work.

Participating in the “My Team Is The Leader” competition, VFEP carries an inspiring slogan: “Physics transcends time, breaking through all challenges. The team is home, and home is family.” This motto serves not only as a reminder of unity for every member but also reflects their determination to conquer new heights. With boundless enthusiasm and youthful energy, VFEP has meticulously prepared to tackle challenges head-on, from organizing and strategizing to seamless teamwork in all activities.

“My Team Is The Leader” provides an opportunity for VFEP to showcase its strength, solidarity, and community spirit. For the team, this is not just a competition but a platform to spread positive values and inspire young people to embrace social responsibility. More importantly, it is a chance for VFEP to learn, innovate, and further its development.

Guided by the principle “The team is home, and home is family”, VFEP will continue to dedicate itself and strive forward, writing new and proud chapters in its history. Let’s cheer for and support the Volunteer Student Team of the Faculty of Engineering Physics on their exciting journey ahead!
