Vietnamese–Korean mixed model kid’s strong impression in Seoul

Once a somewhat reserved girl, Kim Soyun made an impressive transformation as she confidently walked the brightly lit stage of Asia Open Runway Seoul 2026. Wearing a red-and-white design from the “Garden of Eden” collection, the 8-year-old child model affirmed her confidence through decisive catwalk steps and a highly professional ability to handle the outfit.

Strong impressions at South Korea’s architectural icon

The Asia Open Runway Seoul The 16th LBMA 2026 event was held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) – a venue often considered the “fashion sanctuary” of Korea. In this contemporary artistic space, Kim Soyun appeared alongside child models from many different countries. The 8-year-old girl, who carries both Vietnamese and Korean heritage, impressed the audience with her calm demeanor and delicate facial features. Performing on a large stage supported by professional associations requires models to prepare carefully in both mindset and skills.

Although she was once a rather reserved child, Soyun showed a clear transformation as she walked along the long runway. Her confidence was reflected in her focused gaze and rhythmic steps that matched the music of the show. This progress is the result of training at T.A Academy – a catwalk training academy that helps develop stage presence – allowing the young model to gradually overcome her shyness and take control of the performance space in front of industry professionals and international audiences. The harmonious combination of fashion and showmanship

In this appearance, Kim Soyun presented a design from the “Garden of Eden” collection by Dac Ngoc Designer House. The outfit used two contrasting tones, white and red, highlighted by a carefully pleated fishtail skirt. This silhouette created movement with each step of the young model, requiring the wearer to maintain balance and control the walking rhythm appropriately. Soyun showed a high level of concentration while handling the fairly long skirt tail, while still ensuring a smooth performance.

The design combined a structured shoulder cape with a soft skirt below, creating a look that was both modern and still preserved a sense of innocence. The coordinated red hair accessory helped complete Kim Soyun’s image under the professional stage lighting. The interaction between the young model and the outfit demonstrated her understanding of the designer’s concept, helping convey the full spirit of the collection to the audience in Seoul.

Gaining experience at an international-caliber arena

Asia Open Runway Seoul 2026 is an event organized in collaboration by experienced units such as LBMA STAR E&M and The Look C&C. Working in an environment with strict professional standards provides young talents like Kim Soyun with valuable practical experience. Here, she had the opportunity to meet, interact, and observe how peers from countries with developed fashion industries work. These experiences help the young model broaden her perspective and better understand the level of professionalism required in the modeling field.

The moment of walking at DDP was not just a simple performance but also a memorable experience for the 8-year-old girl. Being able to stand on a large stage under the encouragement of an international audience helped Soyun feel more clearly her passion for the runway. This moment marks an important milestone in the young model’s growth after previous performances in Thailand and Taiwan, affirming her serious commitment to the fashion path despite her very young age.

Training efforts and her family’s companionship

To achieve a stable performance in South Korea, Kim Soyun went through a persistent preparation process. From her first days becoming familiar with the training floor in Vietnam to standing on the stage of Asia Open Runway, her progress has always been accompanied and supported by her parents. This is the greatest source of motivation that helps Soyun maintain her energy and confidence in every show. Her family always creates the best conditions for her to pursue her personal interests while still ensuring her education and natural development.

In the future, Kim Soyun shared that she hopes to continue learning and participating in fashion platforms with strong professional standards. With the skills she has accumulated along with structured guidance, the Vietnamese-Korean mixed child model promises to be a potential face contributing to the diversity of the current generation of child models. This journey in Seoul serves as an important stepping stone for her to continue developing herself on the path toward future international runways.
