Vietnamese beauty queen Vu Minh Phuong in a new role at GFW All Stars 2026

After being crowned Miss Vietnamese Beauty and Talent 2024, Vu Minh Phuong continues her journey by taking on the role of Student Model Ambassador at Global Fashion Week All Stars 2026. Active across multiple fields—including modeling, acting, and hosting—she views this opportunity as a chance to gain further experience, expand her network, and promote the image of a young individual who is committed to pursuing a career in the arts with professionalism and dedication.

A relentless journey emerging from self-doubt

Few would imagine that the young woman who now appears confidently in front of cameras and on stage once struggled deeply with insecurity. Vu Minh Phuong shared that during her school years, she was frequently subjected to body shaming, wore thick glasses, and often questioned why she had to endure such experiences.

A turning point came when she turned 18. Following corrective eye surgery, Minh Phuong gradually regained her confidence. More importantly, she chose to transform her life through action rather than waiting for validation from others. She dedicated herself to studying, refining her performance skills, and steadily proving to her family that the arts were not a passing interest, but a path she intended to pursue with sincerity and determination.

Her efforts have led to several significant milestones. Minh Phuong was recognized as Outstanding Young Actress at Film Organization 2023, was crowned Miss Vietnamese Beauty and Talent 2024, and has since expanded her career across multiple fields as a model, actress, and host.

Audiences have also seen her in a number of television productions, including Nhung Neo Duong Gan Xa, Cha Toi Nguoi O Lai, Buoc Chan Vao Doi, Nguoc Duong Nguoc Nang, and Phu Sa Ngot. In addition, she will appear in the feature film Am Thanh Tu Gom (The Sound of Ceramics), directed by Luu Trong Ninh and scheduled for release in 2027, alongside numerous television commercials and advertising campaigns. Each of these experiences has played a role in shaping her artistic journey, helping her grow both personally and professionally as she continues to pursue her passion for the performing arts.

A joint venture with Global Fashion Week All Stars 2026

Taking place from July 30 to August 2, 2026, at the Vietnam Exposition Center (VEC) in Hanoi, Global Fashion Week All Stars 2026 is built upon a model that connects three generations of talent: All Stars, Junior, and Student. The event aims to foster an environment where designers, models, fashion professionals, and emerging talents from Vietnam and around the world can come together. It also serves as a platform for young participants to learn, broaden their professional perspectives, and gradually gain exposure to the international fashion industry.

Having followed Global Fashion Week through several previous editions, Minh Phuong shared that she has always been impressed by the way the program creates opportunities for interaction between designers, models, and young people with a passion for fashion. As Global Fashion Week All Stars 2026 expands its international vision, she became increasingly eager to be part of the event.

Against this backdrop, the title of Student Model Ambassador carries a deeper meaning for Minh Phuong than simple recognition. She sees it as motivation to continue developing herself, uphold the image of a young model who approaches her career with professionalism, and inspire university students who are pursuing artistic aspirations.

“I hope to contribute to bringing the image of young Vietnamese models closer to the public while learning from designers, industry experts, and international friends.” For Minh Phuong, the emphasis is not on the title itself, but on the responsibility that comes with it. She believes that every opportunity deserves to be met with thorough preparation, humility, and a genuine willingness to learn.

A must-have spirit for grand arenas

From Minh Phuong’s perspective, today’s university students have greater access than ever to both domestic and international platforms. However, she believes that making the most of these opportunities requires young people to take initiative—continuously learning, expanding their knowledge, developing their skills, and stepping beyond their comfort zones. In her view, thorough preparation is what enables individuals to approach professional environments with confidence and steadily realize their full potential.

Minh Phuong also emphasizes that foreign language proficiency, an open mindset, and respect for differences are essential qualities in an increasingly interconnected world. When given the opportunity to work alongside designers, models, and industry professionals from various countries, young people should be willing to listen, adapt, and learn in order to grow. According to her, every individual plays a role in representing the image of Vietnam’s younger generation on the global stage—not only through their achievements, but also through their professionalism, attitude, and the way they engage with others.

Each journey begins with a small step

Looking ahead, Minh Phuong hopes to be remembered as a versatile artist working across multiple disciplines, including modeling, acting, and hosting. More than recognition or titles, she aspires to earn respect through her abilities, her commitment to continuous learning, and her professional attitude toward her craft.

The message she wishes to share with young people is rooted in her own journey: be courageous enough to begin, remain committed to the goals you have chosen, and never stop improving yourself through every experience.

According to Minh Phuong, artistic activities and beauty competitions provide valuable opportunities for young people to develop their skills, resilience, and adaptability. While appearance may offer certain advantages, she believes that a strong work ethic, perseverance, and a willingness to grow are the qualities that ultimately sustain a successful career.

From being crowned Miss Vietnamese Beauty and Talent 2024 to taking on the role of Student Model Ambassador at Global Fashion Week All Stars 2026, Vu Minh Phuong continues to add meaningful milestones to her artistic journey. Through this opportunity, she hopes to gain further experience, expand her professional horizons, and promote the image of a young artist who approaches her career with dedication, sincerity, and a long-term vision for growth.
