If you open my computer history, you’ll see a slew of things for certain: Nordstrom’s website will surely be open in multiple tabs, one of my go-tos for shopping; you’ll also see me searching for newest and best NYC restaurants, as I’m a major foodie, and in my free time, enjoy browsing the latest cuisine. What you won’t always find? Amazon. I don’t shop at the retailer all too often, though come big sale events, like its early Black Friday deals that are starting to trickle in, I find myself passionately perusing for hours a day.
That said, I have a very particular way of shopping on Amazon, as it can be incredibly easy to get lost in the abundance—too many options makes me too stressed. So, I tend to specifically search for the items I love and could use a restock of; I also look at my wishlist, which I add to as things pop onto my radar that I think “Hmm.. that would be cool to have someday,” someday often being a sale day, when the price of something is reduced to the point I can justify purchasing it.
