Global Student Fashion Week: Where young fashion talents are nurtured

Global Student Fashion Week (GSFW) is the first international fashion event dedicated exclusively to educational institutions in the fashion field, placing students at the heart of creativity and innovation. More than just a fashion week, GSFW carries the mission of ushering in a new era for the industry – where young designers are celebrated, given opportunities to showcase their talents, and contribute to shaping future trends.

Scheduled to take place in December 2025 in Hanoi, GSFW is expected to become one of the 10 most influential fashion weeks in the world. The event will bring together 150 outstanding young designers from 30 prestigious universities, academies, and colleges specializing in fashion. The collections showcased at GSFW will not only reflect strong personal identities but also highlight creativity, innovation, and the unique perspectives of the next generation of designers.

GSFW’s impact extends beyond the collections, embracing the intersection of fashion, performance art, and global cultural values. With the participation of 999 Global Ambassadors – including beauty queens and kings from various countries – 900 professional dancers, and over 6,000 guests from around the world, the event promises to be an internationally acclaimed spectacle. More than just a fashion showcase, GSFW serves as a platform for connecting talent, sharing creative visions, and pioneering the future of the global fashion industry.

Journey from beauty pageants to the mission for global fashion

Amit S Singh was born in 1992 in Dehradun, a small town in India. Coming from a Sikh family, he deeply values cultural diversity, considering it an essential element that enriches the world. Currently residing and working in Australia, he has made a name for himself across various fields, including fashion, the arts, and education.

Standing at 1.73 meters with captivating amber-brown eyes, Amit quickly caught the attention of the fashion industry. He has won numerous prestigious titles, including Mr. Bollywood King 2016, Mr. Diamond Australia 2017, Mr. British Empire 2018, Cyberface Top Model Australia 2019, and Mr. Photogenic 2022. Most recently, he claimed the title of Mister Australia 2024. Beyond these achievements, he also secured a spot in the Top 15 at the Man of the World competition and is currently preparing to represent Australia on the international stage at Mr. Universal Global 2025.

What makes Amit truly stand out is not just the titles he has won but also his academic background and career path. Unlike many other models, Amit has a strong educational foundation, holding a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering. His scientific mindset, combined with creativity and a passion for the arts, has given him a unique and distinctive perspective in the fashion industry. In addition, he is the founder of Nexus Arts and Entertainment, a company dedicated to supporting and training young talents in fashion and the arts.

Amit S Singh is more than just a model or a leader – he is an inspiration. He constantly encourages the younger generation, especially fashion students, to think differently and embrace creativity. To him, fashion is not just about following trends but a powerful medium for self-expression, personal values, and perspectives on the world. He shares, “Always believe in yourself and never be afraid to experiment with new ideas. Fashion is not just about outer beauty; it’s about the story you want to tell. Let every design, every outfit you create be a statement of who you are and the values you hold dear”.

Additionally, Amit emphasizes the importance of learning and collaboration. He believes that groundbreaking ideas often emerge from the fusion of different cultures, styles, and perspectives. Therefore, he encourages young designers to continuously expand their horizons, participate in international collaborative projects, and maintain a progressive mindset.

Amit S Singh and the pioneering remark in the fashion industry

Never one to rest on his achievements, Amit S Singh constantly sets new challenges for himself, always striving to reach greater heights. He views his career as a journey of discovery, where every step is an opportunity to learn, create, and contribute to the community. Amit believes that fashion holds power far beyond the industry itself – it can shape culture, raise social awareness, and drive positive change. With this vision, he aims to continue expanding his influence, not only in fashion but also through humanitarian efforts and educational initiatives.

Mission of Global Ambassador at GSFW: Spreading values of creativity and sustainability

Becoming a Global Ambassador for Global Student Fashion Week is not only a significant milestone in Amit’s career but also an opportunity for him to give back to the next generation of fashion talents. GSFW is an international platform dedicated to students and young designers, providing them with a stage to showcase their skills and connect with industry leaders. Amit fully understands his role and responsibility in inspiring and supporting young talents. As a Global Ambassador, he is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the fashion industry while encouraging young designers to embrace sustainable production methods.
