The power of integration shining at VIETNAM EXPO 2026

The 35th Vietnam International Trade Fair (VIETNAM EXPO) has just concluded in Hanoi with impressive figures, marking a strong transformation from a traditional trade promotion event into a platform connecting the global economic ecosystem. This success creates new momentum, promoting the sustainable development of cross-border economic linkages.

An expanded caliber with the attraction from global businesses

VIETNAM EXPO 2026 witnessed an impressive presence of 420 enterprises along with a system of 500 modern exhibition booths. The recorded 10% increase in both exhibition space and number of participating entities compared to the previous edition demonstrates the strong appeal of the domestic market. Notably, foreign businesses accounted for nearly half of the total booths, coming from more than 20 countries and territories. This affirms Vietnam’s position as a crucial and influential link in the global supply chain today. From the moment the doors opened, the atmosphere at the Vietnam Exhibition Center remained vibrant, with a remarkably large number of visitors. On the very first day alone, 6,500 attendees came to explore and conduct business, laying a solid foundation for the overall success of the event. The diversity in nationalities of business delegations—from Asia and Europe to Latin America and the Middle East—transformed the exhibition space into a miniature flat world. Here, all geographical barriers were erased, giving way to promising handshakes of cooperation.

This expansion reflects the strong confidence of international investors in the stability and growth potential of Vietnam’s economy. Rather than serving merely as a manufacturing destination, Vietnam is rising to become a regional hub for trade and services. The consistent growth figures recorded each year at VIETNAM EXPO serve as the most accurate measure of the deep integration process currently underway. Each booth at the fair carries expectations of establishing strong and long-term economic alliances.

An integrated ecosystem promoting multi-sector linkages

The most significant difference at this year’s fair lies in the way it was organized and how product sectors were interconnected. Instead of dividing areas in a fragmented manner, the organizers skillfully arranged them to create a highly synergistic trading ecosystem. Sectors such as electronics, supporting industries, smart consumer goods, and international investment pavilions were closely linked, allowing visitors and partners to easily grasp a comprehensive picture of production capabilities. This approach optimizes search time while also opening up new opportunities for cross-sector collaboration among participants.

This new exhibition model pushes VIETNAM EXPO far beyond the limits of a traditional product showcase. The event now serves as a platform for technology and solutions, where stakeholders share resources and common values. Participating businesses can both promote their brands and directly observe the evolving trends of competitors and potential partners. This multidimensional interaction creates a seamless flow of information, enabling manufacturers to quickly capture consumer preferences and adjust their development strategies to meet real-world demands.

The formation of an integrated ecosystem also reflects a growing maturity in the management and operational mindset of Vietnamese enterprises. There is an increasing focus on building value chains, from input materials to finished products. Supporting industry booths act as a foundation for consumer goods sectors, forming a closed and self-reliant production cycle. This strong interconnection generates overall strength, enhancing the intellectual value of domestic products and enabling them to compete more effectively in the highly challenging global market.

Substansive trade and sustainable surplus values

The true measure of VIETNAM EXPO 2026’s success lies in the effectiveness of on-site connections rather than merely in formal statistics. Throughout the event, B2B meeting rooms operated at full capacity to meet the demand for signing memoranda of understanding and economic contracts between parties. International business delegations from countries such as South Korea, China, and Myanmar showed particular interest in Vietnam’s key export products, creating a highly dynamic trading atmosphere. Every square meter of the exhibition was maximized to transform potential opportunities into tangible business outcomes, delivering direct added value to participating enterprises.

Alongside trading activities, a series of specialized seminars on supply chain restructuring and green consumption provided valuable insights, helping businesses confidently position themselves amid global fluctuations. The effectiveness of the fair was also clearly demonstrated through agency agreements and exclusive distribution deals established right at the booths, promising significant revenue streams in the near future. The satisfaction of participating organizations stands as the most authentic testament to VIETNAM EXPO’s role as a vital bridge—one that inspires entrepreneurial spirit and fuels the ambition of Vietnamese brands to reach greater heights.

A strategic outlook of smart spending and green industrialization

The overarching message of “Smart Consumption – Sustainable Industry – Global Integration” was brought to life through practical solutions at every booth. Products incorporating artificial intelligence, energy-saving devices, and environmentally friendly packaging dominated the exhibition, reflecting an inevitable shift in business strategy: positioning social responsibility as a core competitive advantage. This direction enables Vietnam’s industrial sector to gradually transition from a labor-intensive model to one driven by advanced technical expertise. Efforts to optimize processes, reduce emissions, and recycle materials represent strategic steps that help Vietnamese goods overcome stringent technical barriers and penetrate high-end markets such as the European Union and North America.

As VIETNAM EXPO 2026 comes to a close, what remains is a strong sense of confidence in a dynamic economy—one that is ready to adapt and lead emerging trends. The event successfully fulfilled its role as a strategic connectivity platform, fostering lasting and sustainable partnerships. With a history spanning more than three decades, the expo continues to affirm its enduring value in promoting the flow of international trade. The remarkable achievements of this year’s edition serve as a solid foundation, empowering Vietnam’s business community to confidently reach further and showcase its unique identity on the global economic stage.
