As part of Global Fashion Week All Stars 2026, young South Korean model Yang Seung-hee will officially travel to Hanoi to participate in Day 2 – Global Junior Fashion Week 2026. The event will be held at the Vietnam Exposition Centre (VEC) from July 30 to August 2, 2026, bringing together more than 30 designers and numerous young talents from different countries. This will be an opportunity for the young model to experience a major international stage and gradually build her professional runway experience.
First encounters with the arts
Born in 2018, Yang Seung-hee was introduced to the performing arts at an early age through children’s entertainment activities in South Korea. In recent years, the young model has participated in several television programs in Seoul and on ETN, while also appearing at Asia Festival 2025, an event broadcast on the national television channel YTN. Taking part in television productions and live performance events has provided Seung-hee with opportunities to work in a variety of artistic environments, ranging from television studios to fashion runways.
In 2026, Yang Seung-hee continued her artistic journey by participating in Asia Open Runway Seoul (The 16th LBMA 2026) at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP). At the event, she presented a design from the “Garden of Eden” collection by Dac Ngoc Designer House. This was also one of Seung-hee’s most recent activities before traveling to Vietnam to take part in Global Fashion Week All Stars 2026.
Bringing a Korean backstory to Vietnam
Participating in Global Junior Fashion Week 2026 marks Yang Seung-hee’s next appearance at an international fashion event featuring young talents from various countries. The program provides opportunities for child models to interact, perform, and take part in a range of activities organized throughout the fashion week.
Each journey offers a chance to experience different cultures. Through runway presentations and networking activities, young talents have the opportunity to learn about the lives, people, and stories of different regions, helping them broaden their perspectives from an early age. With the experience she has already gained in South Korea’s artistic environment, Seung-hee is expected to bring fresh energy to the runway and contribute to the international cultural exchange that forms an important part of this year’s program.
Distinction from personal naturalness
Following her appearances in television programs, cultural festivals, and fashion runways in South Korea, Yang Seung-hee has gradually accumulated performance experience and developed her own distinctive image. Rather than relying on elaborate expressions or exaggerated presentation styles, the young model wins audiences over through her natural facial expressions, relaxed movements, and ability to convey the spirit of each outfit.
At Asia Festival 2025 and Asia Open Runway Seoul 2026, Seung-hee appeared in a variety of childrenswear designs, presenting an image that was both youthful and age-appropriate. With each appearance, she demonstrated noticeable growth in her stage skills as well as her ability to adapt to different styles and concepts.
The innocence of childhood, combined with a serious attitude toward training and preparation, has become one of Yang Seung-hee’s most distinctive qualities. The experiences she has gained from stages across South Korea have also provided a strong foundation for her continued participation in international fashion activities throughout 2026.
Global Fashion Week All Stars 2026: A meeting point for the young generation
The year 2026 marks a new stage of development for Global Fashion Week All Stars following its eight-year journey from Vietnam International Junior Fashion Week. The program is built around a model that connects three communities—All Stars, Junior, and Student—with the goal of creating a platform where designers, brands, models, and creative talents from different countries can come together.
The event will take place from July 30 to August 2, 2026, at the Vietnam Exposition Centre (VEC) in Hanoi as part of a strategic partnership with Vietnam Event & Exhibition Week 2026. According to the organizers, this year’s edition is expected to bring together more than 30 brands, designers, and showcasing organizations, alongside a wide range of networking, exchange, and fashion presentation activities throughout the four-day program.
Within this context, Yang Seung-hee’s participation reflects a growing trend of international young talents choosing Vietnam as a destination for fashion-related exchanges and runway opportunities. From Seoul to Hanoi, the journey of the young South Korean model represents one of many cultural exchange stories that will unfold at Global Fashion Week All Stars 2026 this summer.
