As part of the DITP Thailand promotional program on the evening of September 17, NICHP officially unveiled its latest high-end womenswear collection at the MuseumsQuartier runway venue. The presentation made a strong impression through its flowing wave-like pleating techniques, sweet pastel palette, and the interplay between sophisticated ready-to-wear pieces and graceful evening party gowns.
An elegant spotlight
The 9:00 p.m. time slot on September 17 marked the arrival of the group of brands supported by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) at Vienna Fashion Week 2026. Following Frank Weeneggsinn’s gender-fluid presentation, NICHP took to the runway, bringing a feminine and elegant touch before Rose Mars made its appearance.
A large number of international guests, fashion journalists, and importers filled both sides of the audience at Halle E + G. In contrast to the experimental and unconventional style of the preceding presentation, NICHP quickly captured attention with its elegant tailoring approach, focusing on revealing the natural allure of the modern woman.
A pristine white backdrop featuring the monochromatic NICHP logo in prominent uppercase lettering created an expansive setting for the runway. The stage lighting shifted to soft blue and purple tones, fully reflecting the smooth sheen of silk and the intricate pleating details featured throughout the garments.
Wavy layering techniques lighting up the stage
The collection drew attention through its extensive use of asymmetrical pleating techniques, evoking the soft ripples of flowing water. An emerald-green strapless dress opened the show with captivating appeal, featuring layered silk-chiffon panels arranged diagonally across the body to create a fluid sense of movement that gently followed every stride of the model.
Alongside the refreshing green tones, the brand continued to showcase its mastery of fabric manipulation through evening gowns in soft blush pink and warm sandy beige. A floor-length strapless gown adorned with delicate 3D flowers scattered across the shoulders, paired with a chiffon skirt featuring a high slit, maintained an air of elegance while adding a captivating sense of sophistication for glamorous evening occasions.
Every neckline contour, waist pleat, and floor-sweeping hem was meticulously finished by the skilled tailoring team. The interplay between curve-hugging structures and the generous volume of layers of lightweight chiffon created an ethereal quality, fully accentuating the graceful silhouettes of the women wearing them.
Urban modernity through contemporary highlights
Alongside its glamorous eveningwear, NICHP also presented smart styling suggestions for fashion-conscious office women who favor a distinctive look. A white shirt with an oversized pointed collar, adorned with a strip of black lace flowers running along the button placket, was paired with high-waisted black shorts and black sunglasses to create a stylish and commanding appearance.
The designer also introduced a long-sleeved white silk top featuring soft pleating across the bust, paired with matching silk shorts and a plain headscarf in a tone that blended seamlessly with the model’s hair. The combination of minimalist sensibilities and vintage-inspired touches created a fresh accent for the autumn streetwear trend.
In addition, cropped suits and sheer black cape coats draped loosely over milky-white outfits appeared in succession. The sharp contrast between black and white, combined with soft pastel hues, demonstrated the brand’s deep understanding of the fashion preferences of urban women.
Closing with a vibrant happiness
The presentation concluded on a high note as the female founder and designer of NICHP stepped onto the runway in a classic oversized gray suit paired with a burgundy tie. Standing before hundreds of spectators, she beamed with a radiant smile and clasped her hands in a traditional Thai bow to express her gratitude for the audience’s enthusiastic support.
The warm response from European fashion professionals demonstrated the appeal of NICHP’s refined design language. The garments successfully balanced international standards of elegance with the softness and sophistication characteristic of Southeast Asian culture.
NICHP’s appearance at Vienna Fashion Week 2026 marked an important step forward in the brand’s journey toward expanding into the European market. This success further affirmed DITP Thailand’s strategic vision of bringing local fashion to the global stage.
