Making full use of the durability of streetwear-inspired woven fabrics, KM/A’s latest collection in Austria made a strong impression with oversized quilted denim jackets featuring hoods and large box pockets, paired with matching loose straight-leg trousers. The fashion house demonstrated its sharp tailoring skills by reimagining office suiting through a striped cropped blazer with an asymmetrical button closure, paired with culottes and a silver brocade shirt featuring a distinctive distressed-texture print. Every relaxed panel cut was meticulously calculated to provide maximum comfort for everyday activities in the urban environment.
A fun highlight for Combinat
The second day of activities at the MuseumsQuartier complex concluded its series of catwalk presentations at 8:00 p.m. on September 14 with a showcase by the independent KM/A brand. Following seamlessly on the momentum created by Artista and Aquanauta, the event completed Combinat’s mission of presenting local fashion talents at Vienna Fashion Week 2026.
The venue was filled with enthusiasm from numerous industry professionals, young designers, and international guests. KM/A is renowned for its practical tailoring rooted in an energetic urban lifestyle, emphasizing comfortable cuts and an approach that transforms everyday garments into expressions of personal style.

A glowing green speedometer-inspired clock-face logo and the prominent km/a lettering stood out against the white backdrop at the end of the runway. Soft blue-purple stage lighting accentuated the distressed texture of the woven fabrics, the substantial weight of the denim, and the vivid paper-flower embellishments adorning the garments.
Modern cotton-filled denim designs to rock the stage
The streetwear segment made a strong impression with an oversized indigo-blue two-piece denim look. The quilted hooded jacket featuring large box pockets was paired with matching loose straight-leg trousers, while high-shaft white boots gave the confident model a strong, contemporary presence.
In addition, office tailoring was given a fresh interpretation through a cropped navy-blue pinstriped suit. The cropped blazer featured an asymmetrical button closure accented with a large golden-orange silk flower across the chest, paired with wide-leg culottes and dark blue velvet heels to create an elegantly unconventional look

The designer also brought a silver-gray brocade ensemble featuring a distinctive vertical distressed-texture print to the runway. A collared shirt paired with cropped straight-leg trousers created a perfect balance between everyday practicality and the polished refinement required for relaxed eveningwear.
Absolute theatricism through produce-inspired designs
An intriguing theatrical highlight of the collection lay in the models’ natural interaction with fresh produce such as scallions, vegetables, and rustic fabric market baskets. Moments such as models lightly biting fresh scallions or tossing props into the air on the catwalk brought spontaneous laughter and delight to the audience.
The playful spirit was also expressed through accessories such as vivid purple paper flowers wrapped around the ankles and handmade blush-pink fabric flowers pinned asymmetrically across the chest. Dark bomber jackets featuring embossed 3D fabric scales and cropped zip closures revealing the waist further emphasized the youthful, free-spirited character of the wearer.

The collection’s color palette revolved around classic denim shades, navy blue, charcoal black, and silver gray, skillfully balanced by sunny yellow and earthy orange floral accents. This combination brought a sense of familiarity, warmth, and positive energy to cold-weather fashion.
Vibrant steps from the founder–vedette
The show concluded amid enthusiastic applause as KM/A’s founder and designer stepped onto the runway hand in hand with the model to greet the audience. Dressed in a simple everyday outfit featuring a black shirt adorned with a rose across the chest, straight-cut black trousers, and a radiant smile, the designer warmly received the audience’s wholehearted support.
The enthusiastic response from the public once again affirmed the value of fashion that connects with everyday life and embodies an optimistic spirit. The collection demonstrated that highly practical designs can still create a powerful artistic impact when infused with intelligent theatrical elements.

KM/A’s appearance on the evening of September 14 contributed an unforgettable highlight to Vienna Fashion Week 2026. The event affirmed Combinat’s success in celebrating local brands that embody a sophisticated lifestyle and a strong sense of identity.
