Recently, the 9th Philippine Fashion Summit Awards officially took place at The Podium Hall, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City. At this regional-scale awards ceremony, child model Tran Dai Quang (Bell) proudly received the Best International Model Kids 2026 award from the organizers. Alongside the formal award presentation, the young model also delivered an impressive fashion performance before a large audience of international guests. The achievement marks the rewarding culmination of a five-year-old talent’s dedicated journey of learning and gaining experience through competition and international exposure.
Experience accumulated through early runways
Before receiving the international title in Manila, Bell Tran Dai Quang had already built an impressive runway record for his age. The student of STEAM International School has had opportunities to gain hands-on experience at major fashion events in Taipei, Taiwan, and Seoul, South Korea. By the end of April 2026, Bell continued his international journey by traveling to Thailand to participate in Bangkok Kids International Fashion Week 2026, confidently taking to the runway before a large audience of international spectators and industry professionals.
Notably, the young model also served as the Image Ambassador for Global Fashion Week All Stars 2026, held at the Vietnam Exposition Center (VEC). The continuous series of international runway appearances, combined with close support from his family, helped the five-year-old model become familiar with a professional environment from an early age. His confidence, bright features, and natural expressions, honed through each regional runway, laid a solid foundation for Bell to shine at the Philippine stage this time.
A strong highlight in Manila
The 9th Philippine Fashion Summit was produced by Jebie Reyes Entertainment Production under the leadership of CEO Jebie F. Reyes, with the aim of connecting fashion houses and creative talents across Southeast Asia. The Podium Hall welcomed a large gathering of industry professionals, designers, and major media organizations from across the region.
Appearing as an international guest, Bell Tran Dai Quang quickly drew attention with his confident demeanor and focused gaze directed toward the audience. He maintained a steady pace on the runway, skillfully handling a multi-layered garment with flowing panels while keeping its silhouette crisp and structured. Having gained experience at various fashion capitals, Bell demonstrated strong stage presence by precisely timing his steps and stopping to pose at points where the camera lighting was most flattering. At the finale, the image of Bell holding hands with fashion expert Le Tran Dac Ngoc as they stepped out to greet the audience left a memorable impression of the bond between designer and child model.
Court fashion spotlight in an international show
Contributing to Bell’s standout presence at the event was a regal East Asian-inspired look created by the collaboration between Dac Ngoc Designer House and BADBISS. The fashion houses explored a burgundy palette combined with warm, deep ruby red, symbolizing good fortune and traditional elegance.
The overall look featured a soft silk ao dai layered over black silk trousers, topped with a cropped, asymmetrical jacquard jacket featuring a subtle woven pattern. The substantial jacquard fabric created a distinctive, structured silhouette for the young model. The centerpiece of the design was a large handcrafted peony with layered petals, embellished across the chest and paired with red tassels and long, dangling beads that created a graceful sense of movement with every step. At the back, a long red chiffon cape flowed down to the floor, creating a majestic visual effect beneath the modern stage lights.
New stride on the pursuit of passion
The moment Bell Tran Dai Quang and the delegation stepped onto the stage to receive the certificate of recognition for the Best International Model Kids 2026 award marked a new milestone in his artistic journey.
