Upcoming occult film “Dark Nuns” has unveiled new stills of Moon Woo Jin ahead of its premiere!
The second installment and the female version of Kang Dong Won’s hit 2015 film “The Priests,” “Dark Nuns” tells the story of nuns who perform exorcisms to save a young boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit.
Moon Woo Jin will portray Hee Jun, a boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit. He has endured unexplained pain and has undergone numerous treatments, but his symptoms persist, leaving him exhausted and on the verge of giving up. Despite his suffering, however, Hee Jun still harbors a deep desire to live.
In the new stills, Hee Jun is captured in a striking profile shot with a stern expression, as well as another where he gazes directly at the camera. Both exude a dark, ominous atmosphere, raising viewers’ anticipation about how he will embody the character—one who has suffered greatly but still refuses to let others be put at risk because of him.
Director Kwon Hyeok Jae praised Moon Woo Jin’s acting prowess, remarking, “He is an actor who makes me curious and look forward to what kind of performance he will deliver every time on set.”
Moon Woo Jin also highlighted his dedication to the role, saying, “I prepared a lot by taking Latin classes to ensure my lines came naturally.”
“Dark Nuns” will hit theaters on January 24, 2025.
