Following her appearances on international runways, child model Kim Soyun has officially confirmed her participation in Taipei Kids International Fashion Week 2027 (Taipei Kids International Fashion Week 2027). The event will take place on January 16 and 17, 2027, at Warehouse No. 3 of Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, Taipei. An international artistic gathering in Taipei
Taipei Kids International Fashion Week 2027 marks the continuation of the successful 2026 edition organized by Runway Productions Taiwan. Following the unique combination of fashion runway and the culinary culture of Ningxia Night Market at Taipei New Horizon in the previous edition, the 2027 event will move to Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. This historically and artistically iconic venue promises to bring a fresh runway experience to audiences and fashion enthusiasts.
Led by experienced professionals such as founder and director Jochen Shen (who has previously collaborated with fashion houses including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Dior) and Jayden Yen (Malaysia’s 2014 Supermodel Champion), the children’s fashion week in Taipei aims to create an internationally recognized platform. With the message “From Taiwan to the world, bringing the world together in Taipei”, the program will bring together numerous designers, brands, and child models from various countries.
A prominent face from South Korea
Born in 2018 in South Korea, Kim Soyun became familiar with the modeling environment at an early age through professional performance activities for children. Most recently, at the end of July, she made a strong impression by participating in Day 2 – Global Junior Fashion Week as part of Global Fashion Week All Stars 2026, held in Hanoi. Appearing on the Vietnamese catwalk, the young representative from South Korea received much praise for her natural poise, fresh beauty, and mature confidence.
In front of media cameras, the child model demonstrated her ability to express a wide range of emotions. In the recently released official poster, Kim Soyun stands out in an outfit featuring contrasting black and white tones, puffed sleeves with pleated details, and delicate polka-dot patterns. The poised demeanor and captivating gaze of the young representative from South Korea received numerous positive responses from industry professionals.
New collaboration with Dac Ngoc Designer House and BADBISS
At Taipei Kids International Fashion Week 2027, the collaboration between Kim Soyun, Dac Ngoc Designer House, and BADBISS will be one of the notable highlights.
Dac Ngoc Designer House is already a familiar name on international children’s fashion runways in London, Bangkok, Taipei, etc. thanks to its sophisticated bespoke designs and modern artistic vision. Meanwhile, BADBISS has made its mark with an edgy, modern style and a borderless fashion spirit. The partnership between the two brands at this fashion week raises expectations for a harmonious fusion of high-end silhouettes and distinctive, unconventional touches.
The two brands’ decision to entrust an international child model like Kim Soyun clearly demonstrates the project’s multicultural connectivity. The production team shared that the natural catwalk steps and fresh energy of the 9-year-old Korean girl are highly aligned with the overall spirit that the collection seeks to convey.
An opportunity for cultural exchange
Nowadays, international children’s fashion runways have become a platform for nurturing young talent and fostering cultural connections. Participating in a show at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park gives young models like Kim Soyun the opportunity to experience professional production processes, develop their stage presence, and learn more about the local culture.
Kim Soyun’s participation in Taipei Kids International Fashion Week 2027 affirms the appeal of young Asian talents on the regional fashion map. Her journey to Taipei in January 2027 promises to bring impressive runway moments, contributing to the celebration of the artistic creativity of the next generation of models.
