Vietnam Eyewear Day 2026 kicking off in Binh Duong: Creating a transparent and sustainable eyewear fashion ecosystem

On June 28, 2026, Vietnam Eyewear Day 2026 officially opened at The Mira Hotel in Binh Duong, featuring an integrated model centered on customer experience. This industry-focused event created an interactive environment that enabled the public to easily access advanced optical technologies and receive consultations from experts. At the same time, the incorporation of fashion collections on the runway offered a fresh perspective on the practical applications of eyewear products. Through these efforts, the event introduced a new direction for the industry, contributing to the transparent and sustainable development of Vietnam’s eyewear market.

Strong breakthroughs for Vietnam’s eyewear market

Vietnam’s eyewear market has recently witnessed significant growth in both scale and quality. This development has progressed alongside technological innovation and a growing public awareness of vision care. Modern consumers are no longer concerned solely with improving their eyesight; they are increasingly demanding products that offer protective features, fashionable aesthetics, durable materials, and advanced optical standards.

Despite substantial market demand, there remains a noticeable gap in consumers’ access to hands-on experiences and reliable sources of information. At the same time, manufacturers and distributors require a large-scale platform to showcase technological advancements, affirm their professional expertise, and establish lasting consumer trust. Recognizing these circumstances, Vietnam Eyewear Day 2026 was officially launched with the aim of building an open ecosystem and fostering the transparent development of the domestic eyewear market.

Held at The Mira Hotel in Binh Duong, the event brought together numerous suppliers and renowned brands, including Nam Cuong Eyewear, 101 Eyewear, AKP Group, Hao Phat Group, AR Group, EssilorLuxottica Vietnam, Carl Zeiss Vietnam, and Chemilens Vietnam. The program’s appeal stemmed from its approach to conveying a shared message, as participating organizations worked together to present a comprehensive picture of optical technology and vision health.

Attendees had the opportunity to experience advanced refractive solutions firsthand and receive in-depth consultations from medical and technical experts. Topics such as myopia control, blue light protection, UV protection, and the process of selecting lenses suitable for different age groups and professions were presented in detail. A series of industry seminars also helped simplify complex technical concepts into accessible knowledge, enabling consumers to make informed purchasing decisions based on the practical value of modern optical technologies.

Convergence of applicability and artistic look

One of the defining highlights of Vietnam Eyewear Day 2026 was the integration of fashion elements into its experiential activities. Eyewear is now increasingly recognized as an essential accessory that enhances individuality, lifestyle, and personal aesthetic preferences. Visitors were given the opportunity to admire the latest designs showcased impressively on the runway.

The Celebrity Fashion Runway 2026, held as part of the event, delivered a captivating artistic experience through the harmonious combination of music, lighting, and distinctive eyewear collections. The participation of renowned designers, artists, beauty queens, and kings created a strong connection between the optical industry and the creative sector. In doing so, eyewear further affirmed its prominent position within contemporary fashion trends.

Aiming toward sustainable values

Speaking about the origins of the project, Miss Tran Ha Tram Anh, Head of the Organizing Committee, shared that the idea was inspired by her family’s extensive experience in eyewear distribution and vision care over the past three decades. Her family has been developing Nam Cuong Eyewear for more than 35 years, carrying forward a legacy passed down through generations.

According to the Organizing Committee, the core objective of Vietnam Eyewear Day is to establish an official platform for engagement while raising public awareness of vision protection. The event also creates opportunities for multidimensional collaboration among businesses, industry experts, educational institutions, and media organizations. This network of partnerships serves as a driving force for the industry’s synchronized development, helping Vietnam’s eyewear sector become more professional, modern, and increasingly accessible to consumers.
