Alexandra Daddario hasn’t been able to check into the third season of The White Lotus just yet.
The 39-year-old Mayfair Witches actress starred in the first season of the show, which premiered in 2021 and was set in Hawaii.
While attending the AMC Networks 2025 Upfront & Content Showcase on Wednesday, April 9, Daddario told PEOPLE that she has tried to watch the newly released third season of the hit HBO series, but she hasn’t succeeded.
“I haven’t seen a thing because of my baby, which I know sounds like an excuse. So, every time I turn it on, the baby starts crying,” she explains.

Daddario welcomed her first child — now 5 months old — with her husband Andrew Form in October 2024 and shared the news with a Halloween-themed reveal. She has not announced the baby’s name.
While she hasn’t watched the show’s third season, Daddario tells PEOPLE that she’s a huge fan of The White Lotus and its creator Mike White.
“I think he’s absolutely brilliant and I am so happy with the phenomenon that White Lotus has become. It’s such a huge part of my life and my heart, and I’m so proud of Mike White. I just adore him,” she gushes.

In the show’s first season, Daddario played the character Rachel, who struggled to come to terms with her new marriage during a honeymoon with her husband Shane (Jake Lacy).
Following the revelation that White cut a sex scene involving Piper (Sarah Catherine Hook) and Zion (Nicholas Duvernay) from the third season finale, Daddario says that she was unaware if any part of her and Shane’s story was left on the cutting room floor.
When asked if she would like to return to the show, Daddario replies, “There’s so much stuff that I would love to revisit in my career and like I said, I’m such a huge fan of Mike White that I would love to work with him on anything.”

The first season of The White Lotus also starred the likes of Jennifer Coolidge, Sydney Sweeney, Natasha Rothwell, Jon Gries and Connie Britton. Rothwell and Gries were the only two to return for the third season, which was set in Thailand.
The cast for the third season included Parker Posey, Aimee Lou Wood, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Carrie Coon and Sam Nivola. The season finale aired on April 6, and the show will return for a fourth season, which is still shrouded in mystery.
