As part of Day 2 of Global Junior Fashion Week at Global Fashion Week All Stars 2026, held on August 1 at the Vietnam Exposition Center (VEC) in Ha Noi, the brand unveiled a brocade ao dai collection celebrating the beauty of Vietnam’s traditional handwoven textiles and the timeless elegance of the ao dai on an international runway.

Held from July 31 to August 2, 2026, at the Vietnam Exposition Center (VEC) in Ha Noi, Global Fashion Week All Stars 2026 brought together designers, fashion brands, models, and industry representatives from numerous countries. The event featured a dynamic program of runway presentations, exhibitions, professional networking, and industry exchanges, creating a platform for participating brands to showcase their creative visions and cultural identities to a broad audience.
Within this international setting, Hachisa Diamond presented a brocade ao dai collection that explored the use of traditional handwoven textiles through Vietnam’s national costume. By choosing to unveil the collection during Day 2 of Global Junior Fashion Week, the brand contributed another vibrant cultural dimension to the program while demonstrating a fresh approach to incorporating brocade into contemporary ao dai design. The collection was organized into several design groups, each highlighting brocade panels in a rich variety of color palettes, illustrating multiple ways of harmonizing traditional textiles with the timeless silhouette of the ao dai on a single international runway.
Brocade materials renovated on the ao dai fabric
Drawing inspiration from the cultural heritage of Viet Nam’s 54 ethnic groups, Hachisa Diamond placed handwoven brocade at the heart of the collection. Traditional woven motifs from different regions of the country were incorporated into the ao dai, showcasing the distinctive colors, patterns, and weaving techniques that characterize each community’s cultural identity.
The collection was developed on the foundation of the traditional ao dai silhouette, with carefully refined proportions and tailoring adapted for the runway. Brocade panels were strategically positioned across the bodice, sleeves, collar, and flowing panels of each garment, balanced by sections of solid fabric to create a harmonious overall composition. This design approach allowed the intricate woven textiles to become the focal point of each look while maintaining a seamless balance between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary fashion.
Throughout the presentation, the collection unfolded in a rich palette of red, black, white, yellow, and blue, complemented by distinctive brocade motifs. The runway presentation unfolded through a seamless visual narrative, progressing from ao dai designs deeply rooted in traditional brocade craftsmanship to contemporary interpretations with a more modern aesthetic. The collection was showcased by a cast of professional Vietnamese and international models, led by First Face Nguyen Huynh Yen Trang, All-round Kid Supermodel 2025, and Doan Thi Minh Toan, Miss Business Beauty Viet Nam 2024. The presentation was further elevated by the participation of Chau Thanh Thanh Ha, winner of The Star Glory Model Viet Nam and First Runner-up of The Shining Stars Vietnam 2024; Vuong Nong Ngoc Tram, Miss Viet Nam Sea Tourism 2025; Nguyen Ngoc Thien Anh, Second Runner-up of Miss Culture Viet Nam 2026; Vu Mai Anh, Miss APAG 2026; Vu Khanh Linh, Miss TV-Charm 2024; and international representative IYA Lester R.
